Cafecito Farms

Our place is very proud to work with coffee purchased directly from the producers. Of course, most of it comes from our own farm, but we also like to try other flavors of our country. We not only buy coffee from these farms, but also other products that enrich our menu.

Alicia Farm – El Cafecito

100km from the center of Quito, with an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level, in the middle of mountains with native vegetation and a somewhat difficult access, which makes our work even more interesting and mystical, is our coffee plantation. We are located in Mindo, famous for being one of the places with the most bird watching in the world.

Perla Negra Farm

Pioneers of coffee planting in the northwest of Quito, their coffee has been awarded several times in their region and nationally. Mrs. Magda and her husband Olger Rogel have dedicated their lives to coffee. They have been a source of inspiration and technical consultation for Finca Alicia. In their farm located in La Perla, Nanegal, they have also ventured into agrotourism and have their own coffee toaster!

Maputo Farm

Also located in the La Perla precinct and at 1300msnms its owners Verena and “the Scientist” Dr. Henry Gaibor produce, today, one of the best coffees in Ecuador: Golden Cup 2018. We generally use their famous typica honey and caturra. When we have doubts about crop or post-harvest processes, Dr. Henry is always ready for a consultation.

Community Cheese Factory Pueblo Nuevo

Trained with Swiss techniques by Catholic priests in the 80s and 90s, this is a cooperative operation of several small farmers who produce one of the best pizza cheeses in Ecuador (and the provolone is also amazing!).

Alikako S.A.

This company processes organic cocoa that it buys from small producers on the Ecuadorian coast, specifically in Flavio Alfaro, Manabí. We use their 100% cocoa for our hot drinks.
